2021 EAFB Civ-Mil Scholarship Recipients

Cherline Saint Louis    Prince Jarbo

(Left) Cherline Saint Louis, A1C, previously assigned to the Commander’s Executive Administration in the 412th Test Wing, was attending Southeastern University and her program of study was a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.  Cherline wishes to obtain her degree to become a youth pastor; and establish a non-profit organization which will create internships and opportunities for minority students around the United States.  She was recently assigned to a new duty station, Little Rock AFB, which happens to be located where her husband is, and is now using her scholarship at Liberty University pursing the same degree.

(Right) Prince Jarbo, SrA , is assigned to the 412th Comptroller Squadron and is a Financial Analysis Technician.  Prince is studying at the University of Arizona (Global Campus) to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics.  He was born and raised in Liberia, and at the age of 12 migrated to the United States.  His goal is to continue to strengthen the organization Project Change, which he and his team took their vision into reality.  With their efforts they have provided empowerment and hope to Liberian youth.  Project Change is targeted at high school students focusing on entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and taking initiative.

The Edwards Air Force Base Civilian Military Support Group is honored to award these Airmen with these scholarships in memoy of the organization's founder, Aida O'Connor.  Civ-Mil's annual awarding of scholarships to active duty personnel assigned to Edwards Air Force Base is made possible by the generous contributions and monetary donations of community memebers to this organization.  We express our heartfelt thanks to all who contribute to this activity.

Strong Family Dinner

EAFB Civ-Mil members had a great time with the City of Palmdale and the Edwards AFB Chapel Community passing out meals at the Strong Family Dinner drive-thru on Thursday, May 20, 2021.  Thank You to all who came out and braved the strong Antelope Valley winds to serve the active duty airmen and their families.
