2021 Adopt-a-Family
In December 2021, The Edwards Air Force Base Civilian/Military Support Group (Civ-Mil) and other community businesses partnered to donate over $7,000 to the First Sergeants’ “Adopt-a-Family” program at EAFB. With this support from the local community, the First Sergeants purchased, wrapped and delivered Christmas presents to active duty families in need. It is often surprising to learn that active duty members may be in need, but it happens. The First Sergeants serve to directly support those active duty members, and Civ-Mil stands ready to support the First Sergeants. This is one of many programs made possible by support from members of Civ-Mil and Civ-Mil supporters.
Civ-Mil is honored to have the opportunity to support our community’s active duty members, proud to serve those who serve all of us.

EAFB Civ-Mil members had a great time with the City of Palmdale and the Edwards AFB Chapel Community passing out meals at the Strong Family Dinner drive-thru on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Thank You to all who came out and braved the strong Antelope Valley winds to serve the active duty airmen and their families.
